Double-forged rods improve grain flow and dimensional consistency, while shot-peening and double-honing enhance strength for heavy-load applications. The small ends are double-drilled for superior lubrication and cooling, particularly useful when the piston crown is close to the wrist pin bearing. The kit includes silver-coated thrust washers and crank pin bearings for enhanced lubricity, sold complete with all necessary components.
